Crazy horn issue. Help!

Postby car_bore » Mon Oct 05, 2015 12:17 am

Hey guys,

For some reason my horns would act up crazy. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Which part should I check or replace other than the horns? The horns are basically brand new and I also tried using another working horn, still same problem. Works intermittently.

Hoping for your help.

Thanks!

Yes, I already replaced the relay. So my pathy has now new relay and new horns, but still the same problem. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I've also crossed out the steering wheel horn contact because when locking the car, it should sound the horn, it sometimes it does not.

Any other ideas on what to check?

also, if the horn clock spring failed in the steering wheel, should the horn still beep or sound when I lock it or trigger the alarm?

Updating my thread. It's not a relay problem. Changed the relay, and still same problem. Horn works intermittently.
