For the 16" size, 265/75 without any kind of problems. Jens, you just need to stop by one of the 4x4 shops in Reykjavik. They can put on some gigantic tires for you & make all body modifications necessary for larger tires. ARCTIC TRUCKS

ARCTIC TRUCKS is sure the best.

100% work on all things but I have no money now, 33" mod with wheels and tire is about 3000 euro.

33" mod.

Here is the best picture I can do today. If you search the site you should find other images from RacerZX that did a very similiar size.

Thanks for the pic, so you say 285/70 16" or 17" is ok. Maybe minor rubbing but notthing that damage the fender. I would love to see more pic of this. Im planing to buy tire but afraid to buy 285/70.

The rubbing issues are very minimal. RacerZX solved his issues with his sized tire with a heat gun and "re-adjusting" the front lower portion of the inner fender liner. That would work for the 285/70R17s also. I see that mine rub the frame rails on full lock turns just enough to rub the paint off.

If I were to do it all over again I'd go to a narrower tire, something in the 275 or smaller range.
