I just recently changed from a 2008 R51 SE V6 model to a late 2012 R51 LE V6 truck.
As I am living in the sandpit I go quite often into the desert with the car.
Yesterday I was stupid enough to forget to switch back to 2WD after getting back to the highway and refilling the tires.
With the old Pathfinder I would directly feel if I was still in 4H mode - For a reason I cannot understand this was not the case with the new one.
So what I basically did is driving 130 kilometres at ~ 120-140 kmph in 4H mode
The owners manual says that driving at speeds above 100 kmph could damage drivetrain components.
Do you think this already has happened now and is there anything what I can do to check for a caused damage?
Side note: The Pathfinder was just 2 weeks ago serviced at Nissan Abu Dhabi (45.000 km service, valid for 10.000 km / synthetical oil applied).
