What's the "clubfrontier alignment method"?

Also, is there anything on the truck, after the body lift, that you don't like?
I'm just trying to picture what might be left hanging down if anything.
(rear hitch?)
the only thing that hangs down is the tailpipe. the clubfrontier method is here

Thanks Akley88 for the info!

Would it be possible to post a pic of the front & rear from a bumper level perspective? I'm about to embark on the body lift, but wanted to know exactly what it'll look like. :)

Sorry about giving life to an old thread.

I see that both akley88 and NmexMAX modified their fenders. This part doesn't bother me as I have already cut back the pinch weld and I'm prepared to cut the fenders such a you guys have done.

I would like a little feedback on how you modified the liners with pics if possible.

Thanks in advance.

David

Mine were trimmed near the door and folded over and welded at that crease. As for my plastic shrouding, that was fairly extensively trimmed as well, again, trimmed and stuffed into the fender well. Mine were only trimmed near the door area, not on the other side.

Thanks for the reply.

I have some thinking to do. I will try the alignment first, but I have a gut feeling it may not be enough. I have new rims and have added 1.25" adapters.

Just trying to line up all my ducks in a row

Actually, I think you might be OK.

At one point I had 0.75” wheel adapters in addition to 295 tires, and 9” wide wheels w/-12mm offset, and that’s what prompted me to do the trimming. Also when I went to 325’s I ditched the wheel adapters and still needed them due to the tires being taller.

The reason I mention this is because I still haven’t done the alignment thing and my camber bolts are opposite of what they should be according to that post and you can physically tell that my front wheels sit more back than they need to. So I’d definitely try that first.

Also this seems easier more refined and cheaper than what I did. http://www.thenissanpath.com/viewtopic. ... ee6448af05

Mine were only trimmed near the door this gives the entire area room for wiggle. And of course the dude at the body shop had to paint bondo and all that shit, unnecessary and I still didn’t gain much all around just near the door. .
