Thanks for the reply.
I have some thinking to do. I will try the alignment first, but I have a gut feeling it may not be enough. I have new rims and have added 1.25" adapters.
Just trying to line up all my ducks in a row
Actually, I think you might be OK.
At one point I had 0.75” wheel adapters in addition to 295 tires, and 9” wide wheels w/-12mm offset, and that’s what prompted me to do the trimming. Also when I went to 325’s I ditched the wheel adapters and still needed them due to the tires being taller.
The reason I mention this is because I still haven’t done the alignment thing and my camber bolts are opposite of what they should be according to that post and you can physically tell that my front wheels sit more back than they need to. So I’d definitely try that first.
Also this seems easier more refined and cheaper than what I did. http://www.thenissanpath.com/viewtopic. ... ee6448af05
Mine were only trimmed near the door this gives the entire area room for wiggle. And of course the dude at the body shop had to paint bondo and all that shit, unnecessary and I still didn’t gain much all around just near the door. .
