The Service Maintence Light in the middle of the dash is lit....... Does anyone know what this could be?
The check engine light doesn't come on when it's time to change oil.
Check engine light could be any of a dozen things but check that the gasoline tank cap is on tight first. If the CEL doesn't go off after about a day with the cap retightened take it to a dealership to check which code is setting off the light.
