It’s fine for road cars, but for nice, even, fresh look it’s best to add a coat every few months. However I wouldn’t bother taking the wheels off for retouching. Just cover the brakes with plastic. Watching the application videos gives me the impression that while it looks nice, I'm guessing that it'll get scratched up or peeled off kind of easily. Might be ok for road cars, but offroad, maybe not?
Off road can be tricky. After all it’s basically synthetic rubber in a bottle.
