80000km(50000 miles) service

Postby patomwazi » Wed Aug 19, 2020 10:31 pm

Truck is due for this service...i plan on doing it outside the dealer as it will be cheaper but still got another 8 months on warranty to go ..
Am i missing anything from the list?
What equivalent fluid can i use for the trans, tcase, diffs and coolant or should i take it to the dealer and let them deal with it?
Any other advice or pointers?

*Air filter
*Change the fluids
-Oil and filter
-ATF
-Diff
-T.Case
-Steering
-Brake
-Coolant
*Check and re-gas/re-pressurise AC and filter
*Suspension re-torque and check condition
*Alignment
*Grease all grease points
*Check CV boots
*Check overall condition of the car

Coolant service isn't due until 105,000 miles.

Where are the grease points? I don't think I've see one on my 06.

That's because there aren't any...except possibly one on the front driveshaft to lube the slide. When you replace tie rods, U-joints, etc. in the future, you can opt for parts with grease fittings.
