I'm still using my original ones. I can't believe how long they have lasted. When they need to be replaced I'll try the inserts. I didn't realize you could buy just rubber inserts. Even better.

I'm surprised you all even bother with wipers. Next thing you know, you'll be commenting on snow tire threads......

I agree with Bosch Icon. I live in Seattle and these last at least 2 years with almost constant year round use. Other brands have lasted as little as a month.

I'm on the hunt for the rear wiper blade right now. Thanks for the tip. I'm still using the OEM and it has lasted 3 years. The rubber tore a few days ago after an ice storm

Found these on Amazon. According to their parts finder any 12" with a B connector should work on my 2012.

I went ahead and ordered the Trico Exact-Fit.

For the fronts, I get the Goodyear wipers from Costco when they go on sale for about $4.99 each. I replace wipers on all my cars once a year.

looking back through my records, i've only replaced one set of wiper blades (OEM) on each truck
average 5 years per set, not bad at all!
just ordered new OEM replacements, fronts & rear, for $22.66 per truck
:)

I know right. That's why I can't believe how long they have lasted. On past vehicles I think I used the wipers once a year for two years before replacing them.

old post. Have 3 kids with cars so five total. now. Want to get the best (OEM, Bosch, etc) wipers for their safety driving this winter.

I find the best varies by car - example, Ford OEM works best on Focus. Not sure about Pathy.

So... for those of you that have had the R51 for a while, what are the best performing wiper blades that you have found. I will go with that and not have to think about it much!

Thanks

Best I've used are Valeo 900 series blades. At Rockauto, they are listed under the "Premium-beam" category of wiper blades:

right side: Valeo 900181B
left side: Valeo 900241B

In the rear, I use Valeo 12B
