Usually average 22 MPG mixed driving, but in a recent trip to Florida, I obtained 30 MPG on each tank pure highway with rest stops every three hours. Loaded with 4 adults 1 child, luggage to the brim and an electric wheelchair. Cruise control set at 70MPH

Hi everybody. I got path sl 2015, 25k miles. I think i am getting so bad gas mileage. 19.1 average. Driving mix city/hwy, 50:50 or 60:40. It really bothers me. I was thinking 22, 23 would great. I dont know where the hell are they testing thus cars or how they do it.

What you all think, i would appreciate your comments. Thanks.

Wolf keep in mind nearly all the high umbers posted are from interstate driving.
Also check our tire pressures.
Add 5 psi to the values listed in the doorjamb for long interstate drives.

Correct, your 19 MPG mixed driving average actually sounds pretty good.

Thank you all. I have another question, is it 5k recommended for an oil change or it can go higher then that?

Nissan suggests an oil change every 6 months or 7,500 miles. The state of CA commissioned a study that showed 10k is perfectly fine with conventional oil and 15k with synthetic. Other than that, it's personal preference. Some feel changing the oil frequently is cheap insurance against premature engine wear.

Do you have an idea what could go wrong if i replace my head light, low and high beam with led lights since they dont recommended? Or should i just try to find brighter regular lights?

There are kits out there for this but results have been mixed.

I did a different approach and put upgraded halogen bulbs into BOTH my Pathfinder and my Xterra:
