Rear Coilover replacement

Postby dills84 » Mon Sep 02, 2013 12:25 pm

Wondering whats involved for replacing the rear coil-overs on my 2008 Pathfinder S. I'm planning on installing either Rancho spacers, or lift springs. Do I need a spring compressor? or do the control arms drop enough out of the way to take the tension off the springs?

I've googled quite a bit but I can't seem to find any instructions or videos regarding the rear springs... only the front.

Thanks for your help!

The rear springs are not coil overs, just springs, with the shock mounted outside of the spring. You will be able to get the lower arm to drop enough to get the spring out, no spring compressor needed.
