I suggest that you mention it to your dealer before your 8 months is up. Just based on the responses confirming my original post, I believe this is an issue Nissan should address. On a personal note, I mentioned it to my dealer, who said they had no knowledge of a problem, but would check into it.LittleStevie wrote:I see it once in a while too, it's usually just one drip or streak. Not really enough to worry about right now, but it'd be a nice thing to get fixed before my warranty is up in 8 months. It only seems to happen once in a while, so it'd be tough to duplicate to a dealer.
Do you know the root cause of the "rattle behind the dash" was? I occassionally have a metallic sounding rattle that sounds like it's right behind my Bose head unit, but it comes and goes...hasn't done it for about 6 months now, but probably will start right when I'm out of warranty.quashun wrote:My truck now has approximately 36,200 miles. I took it to the dealer last week, before the warranty ran out, for the 6th time for the to fix mainly rattles. To their credit the dealer has been very hepful and even said they would refix issues if they came back but we will see. I had the Bose radio/CD player replaced, the right front speaker replaced, rattle behind the dash fixed, right and left front windows reajusted and foam inserted to stop rattling from the passenger front door. My rear window has also leaked a couple of times, but only when I pressure washed it. But it still does not leak all the time. You all should complain and maybe help out other owners who feel that their truck is the only one having the problem.
I've been having a single streak of water on the drivers side of the rear hatch show up after washing the truck. Think I'll mention it to the dealership and see if they can fix it. For others who have had this fixed was the window gasket replaced or the hinges adjusted?SilverGhost wrote:Anybody ever notice the rear hatch window leaking water? I washed mine today, and happened to open the hatch window. I noticed several streaks on the inside where water had run down the glass. It wasn't wet from washing it, but apparently had occured during previous rains. I noticed the same thing shortly after buying the truck in January, but didn't think much about it and just cleaned it off. Seeing it again, today, concerns me. Probably needs a new gasket, but just wondered if anyone else has seen this happen.
