It's in decent shape, body and frame wise. The exhaust?... not so much. It has a leak up near the manifold and I've been just letting that ride because, again, my mechanic said it's going to be costly to fix. The interior is OK. Seats are in great shape. 4x4 works fine. Heat and AC do too. Sigh... I...

To replace or not to replace, that is the question

Whelp... after years of my Pathfinder's realiabilty unquestioned, I went to parallel park and out of the blue the old girl wouldn't reverse. I got out of the car to see what I must have backed into (because that must be the answer, right?) but there was nothing there. She simply wouldn't reverse. My...

'95 needs audio overhaul

Love my truck but the sound system is the pits...Original cassette player with factory speakers and zero quality. I checked with Crutchfield.com and it seems like every option they have requires me to do some form of metal cutting/bending to install new speakers. Why? Is the opening not fit for typi...

'95 rear gate strut install

There really isn't much to say because installing the replacement struts for the rear gate was a breeze. I got a pair of replacement struts from PepBoys for under $60. I needed one tool, an open ended wrench, to complete the install. Total time ~ 20 minutes. - find a ladder/pole/rod/good friend/your...

Welcome to the forum Ghettorigged, nice looking truck with low mileage, Thanks! is it manual or auto transmission. It's an automatic. What sort of odd sound is the truck making, if you have the external spare wheel the mounts on those sometimes loosen up and clunk around. It's when it goes near 300...

greetings from me & my "new" 1995 XE-V6

Just got a 1995 XE-V6 in great shape, minus a small dent on the passenger's side. It had ~92k original miles. So what did I do my first day of driving?...put 758 miles on it! 8) Rides very smooth with new michelin tires and all the original features seem to work as they should. It needs new tail gat...
