- keep the revs under 2000 when accelerating. - try to coast up to red lights so that you can time the lights (doesnt work well with traffic) - pump up your tires to the max allowable cold pressure. - switch your lubricants to synthetic, and change them regularly. - change your air filter. - remove ...

Re: Question about towing a rental trailer.

I am about to rent a 5 X 8 enclosed trailer to move some stuff long distance. I have never towed a "rental" trailer of this size. The rental place doesnt reccommend towing over 45MPH. That is gonna be some slow progress on about a 1300 mile trip. What speeds have any of you towed such a t...

Found this pic: http://off-road-light.ru/images/stories//autoservice/light/nissan%20navara-01.jpg Looks, like major project, but what a clean lens install! thats probably not as difficult as you would think. it looks like the stock housing with a HID assembly mounted into it. most likely cut a big ...

Re: New 2010 Pathfinder

Do you think thats 2010 No. Like SilverGhost and Steve said, this is a concept of the current generation. Look at the sheet metal. It's that same as what we have now. Just add some futuristic looking lights, wheels, and tech (i.e. side mirrors) and you have a concept vehicle. Same thing you see wit...

That is not correct. The TPMS is connected to the tire and to the steering column. It is not connected to the valve. The valve is where the air goes in. the TPMS sensor is a black plastic piece that is connected to the inside of the valve stem. it is not a separate piece. the valve core can be repl...

Re: Nissan Battery Life

I was wondering what kind of life has everyone else experienced out of the original Nissan battery, I am currently on my 4th year with my 05 Path and still holding up. Usually any battery over 4 years old should be replaced just to be on the safe side. One of these days  mine was changed out ...

Re: Tire Questions

- How does the TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) that is integrated into the NAV work on the Pathfinders (2006 LE)? - What do I need to do to continue to have it work after new tires? the TPMS is just a sensor that is attached to the valve stem. just inform the tire shop that you have TPMS and...
