The Airlift bags are the only way to go if you are going to do any towing with the PF. I have found that even putting a 4 bike hitch mounted rack on the back, with 4 people, and some supplies that the rear end sags.

I have an 08 SE 4x4 and I recently checked my mileage after a 4 hour round trip to and from my sister's house and a 3 days worth of driving to work. My route to work consists mostly of 4 lane roads and interstate (23 miles one way). I did about 50 miles of in town driving as well and averaged 21.7 M...
