Yes, actually I was a member there first...but the feedback started very slowly. As of today, our cam sensors were replaced here @ home. I'm trying to avoid paying the dealership for work that can be done here in my garage....thanks for the recommendation.

I haven't downloaded any manuals as of yet. Codes no. I'm thinking of just taking it in to see what the problem is.....ugh. It isn't getting any better, worse if anything. Surging was a pleasant word, more like jumping abruptly now. Then settling out.

Does anyone know what may cause surging of my truck for the first min. when I accelerate? Then nothing? Its not even chugging, just real slow, then it quickly picks up and disappears. Thanks.

Surprisingly I must be getting a deal....ha. Since everything else from Nissan dealer is through the roof expensive. They told me they use to cost under $40....ugh. Mark up is incredible...its just REALLY hard to justify almost $500. to replace them, when the body job is only costing me abit more....

No. I'm talking about the rubber/metal band that attaches to the SUV exterior door (window area) & provides a seal for rain/water & trim decoration. It doesn't go around the window (that's weatherstripping). It's the piece at the bottom.

It seems by all my postings, I am quite busy replacing parts on my truck. LOL. If anyone is familiar with replacing cam sensors, could they please pass some information my way. It'll be my first & hopefully my last. Even pictures????? Thanks a bunch!!!!!

Needing/wanting to replace all four belt moldings for 2001 Nissan Pathfinder. This has been very difficult, it seems only Nissan dealers can provide this hard to find auto part.
