In our shop we find that some cell phone chargers draw 20 + amps & will blow the accessory fuse. Or customers use a power inverter to run a lap top. The only solution is to not plug in somthing that will blow a 20 amp fuse.

my '06 LE has been mostly trouble free. Replaced the fuel sender, glove compartment latch & side steps in about the 1st 25k all under warranty. I now have 60k. & just did the service. Replaced the tires at 52k only because of possible snow strms last year. Front pads still at 3mm. rear at 5m...

Have you checked the coolant level in the system ? No coolant = no heat.
If there is no coolant, where did it go.
Also check the thermostat. If it's stuck open, the engine does not come up to operating temp & you get no heat.

You need the caps on the radiator. What happens if the divider between the radiator & oil cooler gives out ? You dump coolant out !!
I'd recomend you install them NOW

The parking brake is a shoe assembly inside the rear disc hub & does not work with the service brakes that stop the car. To adjust the parking brake, there is a 10mm nut on the top of the parking brake pedal. Tighten that untill the pedal goes down no more that 6 clicks from the top. The cables ...

Having worked for a Land Rover dealer, your girl friend better have a huge credit line on her American Express. The best thing about a L/R from a dealer standpoint is they break often & cost lots of $$ to fix. I have an o6 Pathfinder LE & as far as drivability & reiliability it is much b...

I did almost the same setup. I used a Grillcraft mesh grill that removes the center Nissan logo & mounted my Hellas behind the grill. They are direct wired into the high beams & are a fantastic addition. Now I can see at night on dark country roads.

transmission

I have a 1996 pathfinder & about 1700 miles ago had the clutch replaced. Since that time I have the smell of gear oil comming up from under the car. The shop has traced & cleaned the vent hoses, the seal around the shifter is tight & there are no fluid leaks. Any ideas or experiance with...

At 54000 I replaced my tires with Yokahama Geolanders which I have had experiance on Jeep's. On the Path, they worked grear in the snow & ice we had in Seattle last winter- nothing like you get back east. As far as brakes, I'm using Akebono Proceramis pads & Stillen rotors on the front. Back...

It's not really a crapy place to put the filter - just the access sucks.
I cut the access hole bigger & fabbed a new cover plate.

I wouldn't have a clue as to how to post pictures, but this was extemely easy to do. I simply removed the front skid plate for access, disconected the hoses from the trans cooler at the radiator, spliced them to gether with a 3/8" double ended barbed hose conector & hose clamps. Then I took...

Ok, so I was tired & maybe wasn't clear. We simply bypassed the trans cooler in the bottom of the radiator. Used a barbed connector & clamps on the trans hose. Also capped the trans cooler conections at the bottom of the radiator. All seems good after a 2400 mile run from Seattle to Ca &...

We did a similar change on my 06 Pathfinder & my shop forman's 05 Frontier. Since the radiator cooler is so small, we just bypassed that cooler by using a double ended barbed fitting & clamps. By using the auxaliary cooler all ready on the truck, we havent had any problems & I tow a 19' ...
