I normally run 20 psi with no load & 35 psi when towing the boat. I just get a "bouncy" feel when the car is loaded. It really showed up on a run thru Nevada, Utah & Idaho with 3 adults & the cargo area loaded with coolers & suitcases. The car bottomed out more than once &a...

Call your dealer, give them the vin & find out if there is an open recall for the sender unit on your rig.
There are threads here on this problem.

i'm tired

We just got home from a 2700 mile road trip. Seattle - oakland - yosemite area for some fly fishing - over Sonora pass to Reno - Ogden - Boise & home. Average speed on the highway was 73 mph & 18.6 mpg overall. The pathy seems to find it's stride at about 85mph when there are no cops around....

I understand that some people just arn't happy no matter what they drive. Mine was traded in at 5100 miles on an LX 470. I just turned over 70k & re did the fromt brake pads. The center console latch broke, the covers came off the steps & the fuel tank sender went wako. All were covered unde...

Verry interesting. I've heard that you can gut the cats, but the o2 sensors may read incorect. So then you install a resistor - I don't know the part number, but it's done on Subaru's.
Good luck.

So - after 4 trips to the dealer & replacing the sender, they finally replaced the complete unit - pump, sender & all. Seems that Nissan had a batch of senders that had a bad connection at the pump. So far I've burned 1 tank of gas & the guage worked normally. On refilling the tank, ever...

Well, yesterday the pathy went to the dealer for the 4th repair on the sending unit. This time they replaced the complete unit - pump, sender, float etc. I filled up after I picked up the car & the guage went straight to full. After about 75 miles of driving, I'm down to 3/4 of a tank, so the gu...

The guage sauga continues. 4 years ago the sending unit was replaced under warranty when it failed. Since then no problems. So I get the recall & my dealer says the sender needs to be replaced again with an updated unit. Had it replaced & ran out of gas with 1/4 tank showing on the guage. Ba...

I tow a 19' boat that weighs 4200 # wet with the trailer. No problems towing it other than keeping down to a legal speed. I'd like details on the trans temp guage. I'm thinking about installing a deeper trans pan. Fosslefuelburner: Where is that ramp at? In the Delta? I grew up in Hayward & skii...

I tow a 19' cuddy cabin boat that's 4200 # on the trailer. No problems so far. I've thought about installing a large capacity trans pan & temp guage. I'd be interested in details. Fosslefuelburner: What lake is that ramp at or is it in the Delta ? I grew up in Hayward & skied alot of lake in...

So I had the fuel tank sender replaced Monday & ran out of gas today. The guage showed 1/4 & nav showed 46 miles to empty. Fortunatly I had a can with 2 gal. in the car.
So I called my dealer & they told me that it make take up to 1 week for the system to reset. Sounds like B. S. to me.

I hated my high beams also. So I got creative. I replaced the factory grill with a Grillcraft mesh gril & mounted 2 Hella's behind the grill. If I knew how to post pictures I would do it. But any way, the hella's are wired direct into the high beams & reall help.

I had my '06 LE in Monday for the sender replacement. I did have it replaced at about 32k when I ran out of gas. According to my dealer parts guy, this one is an upgraded unit. Dropped it off in the morning & picked up that evening. Now I'm running the tank to empty to see if the low fuel light ...

One thing to consider is the drop on the hitch insert. Pathfinder hitches sit high & it's best to have the boat & trailer level when towing.
For towing my boat I have a 3" drop on my hitch.
The best places to get an insert is Napa, Home depot ( in the tool rental place) or a boat shop.
