Arrow Up or Down?
It doesn't matter. Either way, it filters out particles.

That really sucks. What has everyone done to repair it? Just prime/paint yourselves? Paint shop? I got mine repaired under goodwill. A year later it started cracking again... and again, repaired under goodwill. There is some kind of epoxy in the rain channel. It's like some type of really hard rubb...

I have new A/T's mounted back in December and I too have noticed a significant drop in mileage.

Fuel quality (winter fuel) also plays a roll in poor mileage.

In regards to speedo, when I drive side by side with a car, their speedo pretty much matches mine.

I've noticed a severe drop in mileage also.

What I'M gonna do is let it go and see what happens into spring.

Wow, you're getting worse mileage than me as I'm only getting about 380+km before the warning light comes on. My mileage has improved slightly since working graveyards, due to less traffic and less stop and go. With the added weight from the LT tires, I filled up to about half tank to see if it'd ma...

Re: Fog Light replacement ???

the 2005 Pathfinder we just got last week had a busted passenger side (right side) fog light .... ive checked around on eBay and look to be decent prices compared to the dealer (of course), but how do you get to this assembly to remove and replace? Easy, from the back. Remove the screws in the whee...

Re: Where is the Washer Pump on an 05 Pathfinder

Hi All Can anyone tell me where the windscreen washer pump is on an 05 Pathfinder? Also, the reason I want to find this is that when I spray the front jets it comes out the back with front window wipers going. When I spray out the back it does the back with the rear washwipers. Has anyone had this ...

Re: ECM Recall

I just got a notice in the mail today that Nissan has issued a recall on our ECM modules, at least for my '06. That's the first I've heard about an issue with them. To be honest, though, I've slept thru the past three years, so nothing surprises me anymore. Has anybody else received this notice, or...

Mostly driving in the city/local. My average MPG is 14.6 from the monitor. Just check the ODO again, it's 12,768 miles only. Seems a bit early for a brake change. And no, no changing the front pad as the dealer suggested yet. I guess I would use my biological brake sensor before I would make the ch...

Re: Front Brake Pads

Wow, that's really weird, I wouldn't think you'd need new brakes already. No one can say how long 30% brake life will last, it all depends on how often you use the brakes. I'd say, a month, look at them and see how far the pads have worn. Easy to remove, all you need is a ratchet, loosen two bolts, ...

Not sure if Nissan's service history records are connected or not, but your particular dealer should be willing to give you a history of what they have personally done to that vehicle. If the previous owner went to a different dealer or a private shop, you could be missing some information. I think...

Re: suspension is sort of sloppy any suggestions 2011 pathfi

Hey what's up guys, I just got this new pathfinder, when I drive it over some bumpy roads, the suspension feels sloppy like i would lose control easily...do guys think it would help if I changed the shocks or springs and get low profile tires..? I've heard members installing airbags for suspension,...

Re: surface rust 2007

I had orange spots all over the Pathfinder. It wasn't that bad as I waxed the suv twice a year.

Ever since I changed the front brake pads to ceramics, I don't see it anymore. I did find one on the rear hatch, just below the glass, scratched it away with my fingernail.

Lots of good points from the both of you.

I'm a member on other pathfinder forums and popped a question on one of them regarding mileage.

2 have replied they are getting the same lousy mileage at this time, so I don't think there is a mechanical or electronic problem.

Geez with mileage like that you might as well get a full size! I can still squeeze 450-500km out of most tanks. Before the REV02s I could do 600-650km. Is that 384km over the full 80L, or how many liters? Have you had it looked at? Maybe cats or O2 sensors or your MAF sensor? If mine doesn't pick u...
