so the offroad does or does not have a different gear ratio than the other 4x4s? I don't absolutly need a 4x4 but i may be moving in the next year and would be helpful and fun to have it when that happens.

what did you do to replace it and what sort of price was it? By soft do you mean bouncy or sits to low when loaded or towing? Otherwise does it ride like any other pathfinder?
