Re: What to look for on the 2013+ Path

Thanks for all of the helpful input. It looks like a redesign is going to be released this year as well. I'm not sure they want to buy new, but it will be interesting to see what is released. What I've seen of the QX60 looks nice. https://www.carscoops.com/2020/10/2022-infiniti-qx60-interior-caught-...

Re: What to look for on the 2013+ Path

PS: if you are just looking for a commuter The highlander is probably pretty good. But the Pathfinder has a much better engine so if u want some extra fun/capability/room the R52 is tmepting. I just bought an R51 V8 but I was eyeing the R52s hard as well. My parents are in their 70's so its not a d...

Re: What to look for on the 2013+ Path

Have there been any other common issues besides the CVT? Owners report problems with rusted out liftgate struts, radiator fans failing, driver and passenger windows raising slowly, funky air conditioning and heating controls, and intermittent keyfob issues. Thanks. Have these been consistent issues...

Re: What to look for on the 2013+ Path

Thanks for the info on the CVT. That's the kind on knowledge I'm looking for. I looked at the tow ratings and the Path is rated at 6,000lbs but the QX60 still says 5,000lbs. Wonder why that is. I would assume they both get updates together. They won't be doing much towing so the main goal is just sm...

What to look for on the 2013+ Path

Hi everyone, It's been a while since I was last here (2.5 years or so since I bought the QX80). Glad to see there are still some active users here. It's a shame that facebook has reduced traffic to forums so much. I love forums and don't care for facebook. Guess I'm one of the few. My parents are lo...

Thanks for the help smj, always appreciate you sharing your input. Is there a way to verify if it is the U-joint without taking too many things apart? I'm planning to give the Path to a family at our church and this just started happening. I'm trying to figure out if this is a minor annoyance that c...

Here's a better video. https://youtu.be/TWFhRNNQmmk

You hear the squeak stop as soon as the tranny is put in neutral. Seems like that should indicate something right? What stops rotating in neutral but not reverse?

It is about time for new pads but I don't think that is the cause. When coasting in neutral it stops which wouldn't happen if it were the squealers, correct? I did look underneath while having my wife drive yesterday and it sounds like it might be coming from the drive shaft. I'll see if I can get a...

Squeak when reversing

When I drive in reverse I'm getting a squeaking noise. It increases in frequency as I speed up so I'm thinking it's something related to the drivetrain. I don't get the noise when in neutral and coasting backward nor do I hear it in driving forward. Here's a video of the noise. Any ideas? https://yo...

Nice! Who's doing the mounting and balancing? Did you not trust Wal-mart to do it?

The visual difference between these two options is almost unnoticeable. Your talking about 10mm in width. Neither of these options will make the appearance more aggressive unless you're going with an off-road tread pattern. The height of the sidewall is the same so the vehicle height remains the sa...

Longer bolts and spacers? Plenty of people have removed theirs, but not sure about lowering them.

I replaced mine once already but it's been broken again. They are about $55 on eBay. Agree that the design is not robust. The plastic at the hinge point is to thin.

Thanks, it's hardest when the kids are little because the car seats are so big. Flipping the 2nd row seats to access the 3rd row is tight.
