I went to the dealer today to buy a quart of trans fluid. On my dipstick it says use only "J", but at the dealer the parts guy said they updated all cars to "S".

Before I pour this in my trans, can anyone confirm this is true?

The tell-tale sign will be a strawberry milky looking transmission fluid. Check it every once in a while and you'll be okay. I have one on my Audi. Works OK. It catches very fine particles on the magnet. It almost looks a little like sludge when you wipe it off. For the cost, it can't hurt
