Re: I by-passed my in radiator tranny cooler

...So I picked up a B&M Trans cooler. Part Number 70268. I installed it in place of the cooler inside the radiator.... Can you tell use where you mounted this cooler? Also, did you have to cut or fabricate any parts or did is bolt up easily? My trans just failed for this same reason and I want ...

So last week I got my truck back with a new trans, radiator etc. I went out of town so only drove it back from the dealer and left it in my garage. This week I took it for a Home Depot run and the next day there's trans fluid dripping on the floor of my garage. I look under the truck and the whole b...

I didn't have a chance to find out. when I picked up the truck today there was a line of people and he just gave me the keys and said he still had to write it up and send me the paperwork. I wanted to get the truck back ASAP because I am leaving next week. When I get back I'll check with him of it's...

Did you just put HID's in the existing housing or did you replace/modify the housing with the appropriate projector type internals?

they said that was "usually normal", but my PF had never done that until a few weeks ago and it started to do it more often recently. That's what prompted me to have them look at it.

Went in for Airbag sensor recall and getting a new trans....

I finally got around to taking my PF in for the recall. I asked them to take a look at the trans because occasionally the truck would downshift when going down hill. Then when disabling OD, it would up-shift. They call me back and tell me that the trans cooler is part of the main radiator and that t...

I'm not familiar with the thickness/properties of bedliner, but did you have to get your wheels balanced afterwards? Wouldn't the liner throw off the balance?

It's doable. Without knowing exactly which stereo you have, I couldn't offer you a direct link, but if you go to

www.crutchfield.com

you can enter your info and they'll show you the options for your vehicle

I used it on my Audi. You don't actually pour it in, you let the vacuum suck it up out of the can. Be prepared for a large cloud of smoke filling the neighborhood.

Got the shocks on, rides alot better. Pain in the ass to do the fronts, had to take the struts to Les Schwab to have them use there spring compressor, mine did not work correctly. AND THEY DID NOT CHARGE ME, so I slipped the young mechanic $20.00. all in all a good mod for the money. :) The rears t...

Agreed. They made an improvement. I'd just like the overall ride to be firmer, especially when I have the cargo area loaded with gear.

Re: 4 new Bilstein shocks, ORDERED ??

I just ordered from 4x4 parts.com all 4 Bilsteins for the front and rear. I hope this will firm up the ride in my 08 Pathy LE, and should improve the handling some. anyone using the Bilsteins? do you like? It all depends on the valving. Shock need to match the springs and if they were made to match...

I think you guys hit the nail on the head. I used my Tahoe (2 dr version) off road a fair amount. The mods I had were a Borla exhaust (NA on the PF), Bilstein SUV shocks (NA on the PF), American Racing wheels and tires (still looking for a set for the PF) and other misc performance mods. After going...

The Pathfinder has no character

OK, flame me all you want, but out of all the cars and suv's I've owned, the Pathfinder has no character. It does its job well and fits my needs, but it does it in a very bland way. I had a Tahoe and a Bronco and those trucks were more than just transportation to me. I cared about them more and thou...
