Re: Trouble Finding Interior Parts

Have a look at Car-part.com I'm fortunate to have 3-4 pic-n-save places within an hour's drive. I grabbed an new-er cover (mine was cracked) for $10. If you want new, I always look at Nissanpartsdeal.com to see what the prices for parts look like comparatively? I'm surprised you use that armrest. I...

Trouble Finding Interior Parts

After almost 15 years of ownership I'm noticing some little things starting to break but I'm having a hard time finding replacements. Can anyone recommend a website for interior pieces? The plastic latch broke on my center console armrest and I'm wondering if I have to buy another armrest or if I ca...

Re: Final Summary of all the work + new parts on my '08 V8

Great job! The one complaint I had with mine when I bought it brand new (yep still got it) was the rear suspension being super soft. I went ahead and put airbags on the rear and it helped a ton with towing and big loads. Might be an option for you if you tend to tow a lot.

I have over 135k on my V8. Bought it brand new and haven't done any major work to it. It's been solid for me.

Front driver anti-lock brake out?

So I'm driving into work this morning and the brake light comes on. Then I notice as I'm slowing down the front drivers brake would catch intermittently with a lot of pops. Tapping on the brake pedal I could hear a buzzing sound but all other brakes felt normal. I limped it into a parking lot and lo...

Lookin' good Carl! Looks like you've got the Mocha color? I can't tell how brown it is in that picture. If so it was a limited edition color for the 08 LE's.

Congrats! I love the fact that I was fortunate enough to be able to pay off both my 08 Pathy and the wife's 09 Altima. It really does make a difference! In January I should have enough money saved up for a tire/rim combo and some sort of lift...

@ dmasini If you combined the two lifts you would not be able to get the vehicle alignment into specs. Just going 2" the alignment specs are maxed out. You could always go with the Calmini 5" lift. It drops the suspension mounting points down, lifting the vehcile, keeping the alignment sp...

Dumb question alert... I know the answer to this but since I haven't seen anyone do this (that I know of) I wanted to be sure. I should have no problem combining the PRG mini lift with the OME/Billsten lift right? Figure that should give me a 4 to 5 inch total lift for that one week out of the year ...

Really wanted the V8 and this was the only one available at the time I was ready to buy. Would have gotten an SE V8 if that was the only option. Didn't like how they had such a limited selection of Pathfinder V8s to choose from even in the whole dealer network. But I got a phenominal deal on it beca...

Same here. Also didn't feel the rear roll as much going around a corner. It was worth every penny!

Cold weather kills my struts. If it gets below 30 the gas in the struts barely hold the rear open for me. And I'm 6'5"... In the summer they work fine though.

If I get a shop to put in the PRG spacers I'll probably go ahead and put OME springs and struts on as well. That should be enough to get some 33's in. If I think I can put the spacers in myself (emailed PRG for a PDF of the instructions) I'll just do those and put on the other goodies once I either ...
