i usually run mine close to empty. Not all the way to where the DTE starts to blink though, just run it near the end of the tank.

Did you have to use a manual for this or was it pretty straight forward? I had Nissan check mine out right before the powertrain warrantee was up and they replaced the front one. Now of course after the warrantee the rear one goes out. I think Nissan shouldve replaced both......oh well.
