Re: Installed 60792 Airlift 1000 kit on 2WD

hope this helps anyone out there trying to make the same decision for the 2WD Pathy. That helps a bunch, and confirms what I suspected. Thanks! It also makes me more inclined to consider the 4WD kit for my 2WD truck, because I want more firmness at the rear when unloaded. More when I get around to ...

Rear Hatch Window Leak

Anybody ever notice the rear hatch window leaking water? I washed mine today, and happened to open the hatch window. I noticed several streaks on the inside where water had run down the glass. It wasn't wet from washing it, but apparently had occured during previous rains. I noticed the same thing s...

...if the springs are the same length, then they have different spring rates...that's why one Pathy sits lower than the other, even though they must pretty much weigh the same. I believe you're correct about the spring rates being different, because the 4WD springs did appear a bit heavier. I must ...

Re: Thanks for the info Dave. One thing I did notice

is that the 2WD version seems pretty stable in "jerk" manuvers on the road vs the 4WD... granted I did not get a weeks worth of time with the 4WD but the day or so I drove one it felt a little different as expected. I'll report back if/when I get them. I'm pretty bad about not being able ...

Re: Has anyone determined a bag combo for the 2WD crowd?

My 4wd kit has a spacer (probably somewhere between 1/2" and 3/4") on top of each bag, the bag and spacer fill the entire void even at 5psi. At higher pressure it actually increases the ride height in the rear, even unloaded. I would say that w/ the included spacer being used there is 0&q...

Re: Has anyone determined a bag combo for the 2WD crowd?

I probably don't need bags yet but when my towing stuff increases I'd like to add these for the levelling if anything else. I contacted Kevin at AirLift again last week for an update. He still says the kit for the Kia Sorento (#60792) will work. In my opinion, those bags probably would provide some...

Passenger Window Auto Up/Down

I know I'm a bit slow on the uptake at times, but I just noticed that the '07 R51 has the auto up/down feature for the front passenger window. I'm sure that getting that feature into my '06 would only require replacing the driver's master window control assembly. Wonder if I'd have to refinance my t...

Where did you buy the system?
Complete kit, or individual part numbers?

Thanx

Has anyone purchased any of the extras they offer? If so, do you feel justified by your choice? Just curious. Yep, my finance guy talked me into buying the Nissan Gold Plus Preferred extended warranty to the tune of $1395. How-some-ever, I'm drafting a letter as I type cancelling the coverage. Just...

racer - I also suspected a bad tire, so switching the fronts to the rear was to be my next step. blink - I have heard that referred to as radial tire pull, but I was never sure what caused it, or whether is was actually an issue unique to radials. I only notice the vibration at 75-80 m...

Re: First Mod, Bumper Guard

The skid plate piece is a little flimsy for my taste, definitely of the one-hit-and-replace variety. Not a huge issue, the truck already has another stock plate just behind it protecting the bottom of the radiator. How do you keep the underside so friggin' clean?!? :o I've had mine for a month, and...

Yeah, me either. It's just that there is a lot of chrome on the front end, and just wondered if these were small enough to carry that over to the rear end without looking pimp-like.

Tire Imbalance

Has anybody else had trouble getting their tires/wheels properly balanced? The Michelin Cross Terrains I traded for have been balanced twice, and they still vibrate at highway speeds. Not badly, but considering their price, I don't consider any vibration acceptable. I've used this same tire shop for...
