I've searched this enitre board and can't find a conclusive answer. My '06 PF has a build date of May 2006. Is it possible that I don't need to be concerned about the internal tranny cooler cracking and leaking? I can certainly do the bypass if needed, but would prefer to leave well enough alone if ...

I dodged a bullet! My service writer at the dealership did the repair at no charge. The problem was a shorted blower control module - the "amplifier". He said that since the charge would have been less than $300, he had authority to goodwill the repair himself. He's a great guy, and I told...

Ut-oh, this could be real spendy!

Got into my '06 LE this morning and cranked it up. The AC fan immediately starting blowing full blast. Nothing I did would slow it except to turn off the system completely. Turned it back on, same thing. Shut off the engine, restarted, same thing. Oddly, the digital display showed a fan speed drop w...

I took your photo and circled differences between your PF and my '06 LE US version. Form left to right and top to bottom - 1. Beside the power door lock button on the drivers arm rest, I have a power window lockout button to prevent children from opening windows. 2. You have a covered compartment in...

Re: 2006 pathfinder LE limited slip question

atc wrote:Is limited slip diff standard equipment on LE models?
It was standard on mine. According to my book, it was standard on all '06 Pathfinders, regardless of model.

Edit -
Terry (see next post) is correct. ABLS is standard. The OP didn't specify the L/S type, nor did I.

So did I. I also did the longhand math to make sure. Maybe you misread something, or the online calculator is flawed, because the numbers you mentioned don't compute.

Just trying to be helpful . . . :)

step up to the 275-65-17 tire like I did and get 0.39 inches fatter and +1.61 inches overall diameter larger, taken from the center of wheel the tire will be approx 0.75 inches larger around Kev - Not trying to pick nits, but you might re-check your numbers. According to www.miata.net/garage/tireca...

Read through this thread. Several of us previously looked closely at that issue.

anybody know if 2WD Path use a different part number ? Different than what? Sorry, but your question is somewhat oblique. The Airlift kit (4WD) is not for 2WD PF's, if that's what you're asking. I've been there . . . done that. They recommend, but I don't think they warranty, the kit for the Kia So...

I can't speak to the subwoofer side of the cargo area, but I'm sure it's just as difficult as the other side. I had to rip out all the trim panels to access the antenna booster connections that a numb-nuts tech failed to reconnect when he R&R'd the rear window. You start by removing the rear doo...

LE's came with 17" rims as well as leather, but I think they also had built in NAV with digital radio/NAV display. Built-in NAV was not standard, at least on the '06 LE. I think the woodgrain trim is the only item mentioned in this thread that was completely unique to the LE (that is, not incl...
