I can't say enough about the Bridgestone REV02s. Quietest tires I've ever driven on. Wearing good too. +1...I just put the Revo 2's on my Armada and they are nice and quiet. I would also highly recommend the Firestone Destination A/T's. Both tires are quiet, handle well in dry, rain and snow, great...

Thanks for all the help and good bye!

All, I wanted to thank you all for all the help you have provided me over the past 3 years. This is really a great group of people and Pathfinder enthusiasts. I am departing because we had to move up a size in vehicle, so we picked up a 2004 Armada. I'm going to miss the Pathfinder, but hopefully th...

V6 vs V8 Tow Rating...what changes?

Hey all, I have a question regarding the towing abilities of the V6 vs V8... What is the difference between the V8 and the V6 other than the engine? How does the V8 get 7,000lb towing capacity over the V6's 6,000lb? Are the brakes different, is the suspension different, what about the hitch? I'm thi...

I swear by the Firestone Destination AT's. They meet all your requirements: they have an aggressive look, are quiet, do great in the rain, snow and sand, and don't cost an arm and a leg. This is the third SUV/Truck I've put the Destination AT's on. Oh, they also have a 50k mile treadwear warranty.

Elite, Do you have any recommendations for removing the panel? Thanks, To be honese, I cannot remember what it takes to remove the rear panel. I believe there are two screws in the First Aid pocket and another couple screws on the bottom of the door where the handle is on the right hand side (the o...

For you guys with the lift bags, do they effect the ride? ? Yes...it makes it better. I installed my AirLift bags on our 2007 two weekends ago. I haven't towed anything yet, but I noticed a difference just driving around town. The rear feels more solid and it doesn't have the soft feel and bounce i...

I had this same thing happen to me. After I accessed the door lock actuator, I found the linkage between the actuator and the lock itself became disconnected. I reconnected the linkage to the actuator and it worked fine. It was a pretty easy fix, but you have to remove the entire rear interior panel.

Well...I'm confused now. I must have the TX15B transfer case. It only took just over 2 qts of fluid.

Does this sound right?

Just Drained Transfer Case - drained out 2qts

I just drained my transfercase on my 2007 Pathfinder SE 4x4. It has 75,000 miles on it. I measured the amount of fluid that came out and it was just at 2qts. My understanding is that the transfer case takes 3-1/8th quarts. I just want to confirm I fill with 3 qts of fluid, not the 2 that I pulled ou...

Mine was broken when I received the truck. It's a $20-ish part and easy to replace. Pull the old one out and off the plastic tube for washer fluid, push the new one into the tube, push the nozzle back into the top of the rear hatch. I thought about just not replacing it for a while, but if the nozz...

Trailer brake controller mounting options

I just ordered a Tekonsha Prodigy P3 trailer brake controller for our Pathfinder and was wondering where the best place to mount one is? I'm assuming the best, and almost only place, is right by the right kneed under the dash. I have also seen one mounted in the little cubby slot above the 4wd and T...

Thanks for the help. You have given me more useful, and understandable, information in this post than I have received through my hours of research. I apreciate your help. I may just go with the same Reese hitch that you posted. I want the WD and sway control in one unit.

Thanks again

Thanks for the info. I'm still trying to figure out what the differences are between all the WD hitches. Over at Courtesy Nissan, they are selling their Nissan WD Hitch for $200.00 and I see others (i.e. Reese) for $550.00 I haven't figured out which way to go.

I've only really had a couple of gusts of wind that have woken me up while towing this set up, and I really attribute alot of that to the hitch. I had it recommended by a friend at work who tows an Outback with his 2000 Tundra and he swears by the hitch, and now, so do I What do you mean you attrib...

Wow Plngeek, that is a beautiful trailer! Looks similar to what we are looking at. We want the Gulfstream AmeriLite 24BH. We love the layout and especially the bunks for the boys, which the Resort 249BH has. The weight is around 3900lbs and 440lbs tounge weight. I am concerned about the length as we...
