I actually did ask them y they are charging $105 for a part that costs $2.50, their response was the workers are in a union and their fee is a minimum of $90 an hour. So yea the job literally took me 10 minutes. oh btw, i took my car to the stealership for an oil change and told them bout the noise ...

Yea its one of those round things, i just switched mines out today and the rattling is gone. Most of them were intact and i only found one that was already broken so all I did was take it off and put on the 2.5inch exhaust clamp I got from autozone and everything is perfect now. From the look of you...

The diagram below im assuming is from the bottom of the truck looking up correct? not from the engine bay lo...

Hi shv2sail, Were u able to find which ones would be best for our pathfinder on the Mcmaster-Carr site? I am in desperate need of new shocks for the hatch as well. Thanks so much. OK, my "new" OEM struts are starting to die now too (hit my head 2x this weekend). I took a look at the McMast...

Color Code Ques

Hey everyone, I am looking for the color code for my 2005 pathfinder which is Silverstone Blue Clearcoat Metallic. The problem is when I checked the door jam for the color code it reads the color code as B25 which is Granite metallic in color. I have searched everywhere online and cant seem to find ...

Did u guys resurface your rotors after replacing the brake pads the first time? The stealership is telling me they must resurface the rotors on all brake jobs which I think is bullcrap. They wanted $170 just to resurface both rotors. Does that sound right? I read on another post that its only $8 to...

170 bucks is crap. It shouldn't be anywhere near that. Get it away from the stealership and take it to local mechanic or do it yourself. It's a good idea to turn rotors to true them and get a nice surface for the new pads to bed into. But it also makes the rotors thinner and more likely to warp. Un...

Just a word of advice, not all pathfinder/navara products from thailand or some other asian country will work on our US spec pathfinder. I purchased chrome foglight trims from a seller from thailand on ebay and they did not fit on our pathfinder. Luckily the seller I encountered was a responsible eb...

I just did the Akebono PRO ACT pads on mine ....way better than OE ... Also remember that the "OE" pads you buy at the dealer may not be the same pads that came on it from the factory !! I am not a fan of OE pads at all .... Have had awesome luck with the Akebono's and the Hawks ( to bad ...

For every nissan and infiniti I have owned, I have always used Akebono ceramic pads whenever I replace. I have been extremely pleased with them. great performance, minimal dust. I have tried Autozone duralast in the past, and they squeaked like crazy from the begining, not the case with the Akebono...

you really want to go cheap on brakes? why isnt it the most important part? The pathfinder isnt exactly light. Im not going cheap on brakes, im getting OEM pads, and oem isnt exactly cheap....i just refuse to let the dealership do the work since they are asking for $250 just to replace the front pa...

I can't answer your question but i just got some pads from the parts store and they work just fine. Well i wanted to go with oem pads bc cheaper pads can damage the rotors, I only have 10% left and only 23k miles on my 05 path but live in stop and go traffic so time to change them but I dont want t...
