I pulled 5500lb cargo trailer from Arizona to Alaska with the standard hitch. Definitely a couple white knuckle moments. I'll get the WDH if I did it again.

yeah, the 4wd in my 2005 always works like this, kind of a pain when you want to switch it off on the highway to get some better mpg. Well, if the dealer figures out any way to make it better, let us know!

Got the new springs from courtesy last night, they clipped right in.
10 minutes to install.
10 bucks each.

Mine started doing it last year around this time and the deal replaced them under warranty. If you're out of warranty, buy the lift supports online at Courtesy Parts or enissanparts...I haven't looked but I can't imagine that they're difficult to install. Thanks, I'll try that route. Thanks for the suggestions guys. Unfortunately, my warranty expired a few months back, so I'm on my own with this one. And it's definitely not bad enough the pay the dealer to fix it.

I've noticed that my tailgate is getting sort of...droopy...lately. Does anyone know the best place to get some replacements for stock shock/springs? Be nice to get some that are a little more powerful...like jump out of the way when you open the door.
