update:

the belt started squealing again since I changed it last year (Jan 2010). I used a "Bando" brand. Now, I'm hearing two distinct squeal. This will be my third belt for a vehicle with 70K miles on the ODO.

I'll update with what I find.

UPDATE 10/19/10: Had my local mechanic cut out the corroded sections of pipe and replace with rubber tubing. After taking it to the dealer for ECM recall, the VDC/SLIP light came on. I haven't checked the connections and brake fluid yet, but will update once I get home tonight.
