UPDATE: Since the IPDM/ER continues to be on National back order, I decided to go to the local yard and look for one. I did not find a Pathfinder but I did run across a 2005 Titan which had what looked to be the same IPDM/ER as the Pathfinder. I bought it for 65 bucks. I installed it in 15 minutes....

I had a similar problem on my 02 Maxima where it was not necessarily a lurch, but more of a hard shift b/w 2 and 3. They had an updated TCM programing for the maxima that would resolve that problem but I haven't heard anything like this for the Pathy but might be worth asking the tech about. Are you...

they told me the same thing and it was $14 / quart.

After searching the web, I think the S can be mixed safely with the J and it has improvements over it ( read from NICO forums)

I will probably buy online, I recall seeing it for $7.95 / quart somewhere.

Ok, I couldn't let sleeping dogs lie, so I went back again to look at and take more pictures. It looks like the leak is more like a "spray" there is fluid all over and it looks to be a radial pattern, I saw some on the underbody above the front driveshaft. So I am thinking this might be th...

Transfer case leaking ? Or toast ?

I was looking under that pathy and I noticed that there were a few drips on the floor near the middle of the truck. I looked and the transfer case and I notice fresh fluid drips from the entire bottom if it. Looks like a seal might have gone bad. Has anyone experience this ? Could it be something mo...

What did you use to stealth out the rims ? I was thinking of going gunmetal on mine or maybe black not sure yet. The LE stock rims aren't all that.

This is why you never buy a Harbor Freight Jack

See the pictures below from adampfisters and pirate4x4.com. Luckily nobody got hurt, I wanted to share this here for all the DIY'ers. Here's the original thread regarding JAcks on that site. He was using a 3 ton HF jack and it crumbled on him under his F350. http://www2.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthrea...

just finished this mod, I wanted to clarify something. that wire you have to cut in the harness is the 4th pin from the right if you are looking at the back of the connector, and the 4th pin from the left if you are looking at the female end of the connector. I almost got confused, but I got it righ...

i always thought they got rid of that option after 2005, I have not seen a single 2006+ that has the off-road badging on the side or the six spoke rims that the 05 had, correct me if i am wrong ?

So was that pulley in the pic you posted a bad angle ? I simply don not remember any moving parts that close to the hose when I did mine, I am getting paranoid, so I will have to check tonight.

Not sure I understand what you are saying about not removing the skid plates, I didn't see any other way to get to it. As far as the pully , I don't recall the hose being that close to the pully like in that picture, I will have to double check and look at that, I agree that is too close for comfort.

sounds like that switch might have gotten and electrical gremlin in it. Maybe it got wet or fouled up some other way ?

See if you can remove it and inspect and clean the contacts. IF not, check www.car-part.com to find a local junkyard and pick up a new set of switches.

good luck.
