Gas mileage

yeah cars get less mileage in winter , cause the air is less dense and harder to push through . Also like the above post the ethanol and less octane in winter gas . I just had the same thing I went from 18 avg to like 15/16 ... just changed my air filter , had 20k on it a bit too much , mileage got ...

pads only

If i only want to replace the pads only ....(not cut or change rotors) can I do that without removing the rotors or needing that tool . I have some cheap pads on there from previos owner that are so messy i want to put a nice ceramic or dust free pads on ...also could use a reccomendation on that ...

Now I will look around for that one on the driveshaft ...
and not think about getting rid of my grease gun :lol:

or driveshaft ??

Pad s Calibers

THANKS Nighter ..

So do the Calipers just unbolt liek a GM or other with 2 long bolts
and then you just slip in the new pads ?

Unless

Unless... They mean lube the pivot points of the swingarms and A Arms with some spray lube ... all the joints that normally (usa made cars ) have grease fittings , were yeah.... sealed . I just sprayed some T-9 (my favorite ) (goes on wet , then hardens up to like a thin grease) on all the pivot poi...

Panhard Bar Bent

Can't for the life of me figure this one out .
Bought a used 2004 , a month after notice the track bar or panhard bar
is bent toward the spare ... If the car was hit in the rear and the spare tire went into it it would be bent toward the axle ...
How could this bend have occured ?

I didn't see any zerk fittings under my 2004 ...
Are there any ways to lube the chassis ...if there are no grease fittings ?

Tank Size

Don't these Cars have a 21 gal Tank ? If so , then 21 times 17 mpg
shhould give you 357 ...? why are you all saying so low ?

Sounds like a vaccuum leak to me

Sounds like some vacuum operrated switch is not getting enough vaccuum at idle to keep the flap or vwhatever open , add thottle,
adds vaccuum and then the heat flows in ...
He says he hears it leaking with engine off ....
