Says the man from California. Be careful if you run in below freezing conditions. Ice can bridge that gap when you park and freeze the tire to the "other" surfaces...then you might get some snap/crackle/pop effect. See, I hadn't even thought about that. I've only been thinking about tire ...

I'm using my stock wheels with the bigger tires, so no, there's no going back. It would be amusing to do before and after dyno runs to see exactly how much the bigger tires loose you in power, but I can't easily do that at this point. I was pretty set on the 285's until a thought popped up out of n...

so do you think if whent with some 275/70/17 i would be pretty safe to say that there would be no rubbing, its just i whent to a few tyer shops and they have all douted that i would get 275/70/17's under the car From what I see on PCOA, it looks like your tire shops are simply not used to large tir...

I hopped in the PF today after a soccer game, turned it on & got this excrutiatingly loud beeping noise. 3 beeps, a pause, then repeat. It was so loud that I had to cover my ears, almost like it was going through the audio system at full blast-even though my CD was playing at the same time &...

I can deal with on road rubbing, and would probably do the same thing Racer did. But, I'm more worried about how bad it will be off road. Have you had a chance to try it out on a dirt road yet? Something with lots of bumps? The 285/75/16's I want to get are very close in size to your 17's, so any in...

there used to be photos on here of upgrades but now unable to find them and they had the old next to the new but i never noticed if the shocks and struts were the same size. Have a look at the post from Blink above your last post. His signature has a link to some photos that show the stock springs ...

If there is a specific picture your looking for let me know as I am home today and could take it or post it if I already have it. I installed it for rock chips and what not on the leading edge of the hood. With the salt and sand they lay down out here for snow on top of the regular road rash thats ...

Does everyone have one primarily to deflect bugs? Also, did anyone install the sunroof wind deflector? If it makes that much of a differen...

I tried it out a few times yesterday on the way home from work, both on the freeway and off. If I let go of the wheel, it keeps going in the same direction. No complaints here.

Ahh, you must be the same Ash who posts on PCOA? Do you have any more pictures of the ironman suspsension? Is it actually a lift, or just a replacement for the factory suspension? Any links?

Too bad Nissans aren't "cool" enough yet to have the tricky little light up hitch covers like Ford & Chevy. (At least I haven't seen any.) DON'T say that! I want to hurl every time I see Bubba's pickup in front of me at a light, with his flashing Ford hitch insert. I just cover my hit...

How do you get to the index page for, say, the 2007 SM? I played around with the original link a bit, but couldn't come up with anything.
