I have a 93 300zx and i am always checking out wheels that will fit without having to roll fenders or hitting the large calipers in front.

Sorry for the confusion. All i am saying is that when i remove the "AMP" on mine, the Bose system doesn't work. I would assume that you need the AMP to make the Bose Head unit work. The AMP seems to be amplifying all speakers including the rear Bass.

I asked a question about removing the bose amps, and found that it was located under the driver's seat. I remove the harness on it, and all sound went away. So all the wiring for all speakers from the Bose Head unit is routed to the amp under the driver's seat. Without this amp, your new Bose Head ...

I always thought that was the "bass" amp only. I will disconnect and see if indeed its for all speakers.

I replaced my Bose HU with an eclipse nav/dvd unit. And i find that the speaker levels are really high. So i open the door panel, trying to find the "Bose" speaker and amp. But all i found was the 6X9 bose speaker.. but no Bose Amp attached to it.

Does anybody has a location for the "bose amp"? The ...

Well,

my wife would say i have issues... but...

got my first one.. 2X2..06 and i wanted a 4x4. that became an 07

so that is two of them there. but the 4x4 was loaded LE with all goodies.. so.. it became too expensive for me after a while.

i tried a smaller FX45 to see if that was what we needed ...
