I did this after reading your post! I no longer look like an idiot driving down the road with my fuel door open. :D

Best thing I ever did

If you drive an older pathy, xterra or frontier, you’ve undoubtedly had trouble with the gosh darn clip/spring inside the gas door. Well after years of struggling/replacing and such I believe I’ve finally found a permanent solution. After struggling to install a new clip, I found a video online of a...

Rear A/C lines

My mechanic tells me that I have a leak in the rear A/C lines. He’s not sure how to fix it-said he could only see it with a mirror. I wouldn’t mind just capping those lines off if possible-I certainly don’t use the rear vents. I have vague memories of reading about solutions here, but can’t remember...

Re: NEW BFG trail terrains on my ‘05

Correction-60K warranty on these. Would put my pathy at about 240K. I’m definitely gonna hold on to this guy til 200K-after that who knows.

NEW BFG trail terrains on my ‘05

6D0D237B-9529-4645-B640-24297BC2D7A4.jpeg New meats on my ‘05. BFG Trail terrains. Weren’t the stock tires on the pathy BFG long trails -hahah. I liked the BFG K02’s that I put on my Titan so much I decided to put the softer core version on my pathfinder. I’m not sure why you can’t put a regular Fu...

Re: Lost a heat shield-need a little help

Ok -easy enough to find where the shield is supposed to go-unfortunately the studs have deteriorated so badly they snapped off very quickly. I need some type of rivet solution to attach the shield back on. Those plastic trim pop rivets would be ideal but I’m sure they would quickly melt. There is no...

Lost a heat shield-need a little help

Hello all-original owner of an o5 pathfinder here. Teenage daughter is now driving it-comes home tonight “a part fell off the bottom of the car”. Fortunately she was able to retrieve the part and it appears undamaged. I have had the exhaust system replaced maybe 3-5 years ago due to rust issues. Is ...

Latest to keep my 05 rolling

Daughter now drives my 05 that I bought new. Tire pressure light comes on so I take it to put air in the tires. I notice the brakes are somewhat squishy and the steering seems vague. End up replacing front wheel bearing per mechanics advice and getting the brake fluid flushed. According to daughter ...

Embarrassed

Can’t believe I let my in cabin filter get this bad. I truly have no idea when was the last time it was changed out. Of course the cover snapped off the 2 tabs, but fortunately I was able to use a small screw to put it back on. I think a screw should have been there but it wasn’t. I have now done 3 ...

Re: Rim Downsize, is it possible?

Next trivia question-how many years was the V8 available in the US?

And…is the r51 still produced internationally?

Re: Rim Downsize, is it possible?

That is a good price-only $120 a rim. I should have went with smaller rims 10 years ago lol.

Thanks for the info Palmer! You are a pathfinder guru!
