Hi Guys, I'm glad that worked out! The parking ground thing isn't really an adjustment, it's just the ground side of the circuit for the solenoid. sometimes the buildup of fries, coke, coins, mouse poop or whatever gets in the micro-switch or the cable goes bad and puts tension on the shifter, in an...

when you are in park, step on brake - do you hear a click from the shifter? (solenoid trying to work?) If you do, check for a mechanical stopage at the solenoid. If not, check the adjustment on your pedal switch and make sure they're (if more than one) plugged in properly and the depth is correct (t...

there is s vent kit to be added on, and an updated VCV if it is in fact a VCV issue. Also, check the cannister for mud build up inside. If you replace the valve again (which should definately have the oring) without looking at the cannister, it'll just keep failing. It's one bolt to take it out, but...

you can go without it. It would technically be a bit less stable, but if it drags at all, it's better to go without. It should not bind at all when you have it on the slider and put it into the bore. should be a comfy fit without bunching. If it's swollen, toss it.

agreed, if you're missing that corregated rubber tube over the slider, you're asking for seizing. The boot could not directly be the cause your prob. Pull the caliper, remove both sliders. Run a drill bit the same diameter into the bores that slider goes into. Clean out with brake clean until it run...

R51's have A/F sensors pre-cat that don't work like regular 02 sensors (varrying current, not voltage). with most generic scan tools, you won't see much usefull info. The post cats are still zirconia 02's. you can check those, but will only be able to work under the assumption that fuel control is g...

those trucks are notorius for uneven pad wear. Make sure the sliders (upper and lower) are free. Lube with syn. slider grease, nothing else. Make sure the corregated boots seal properly over the sliders, and have no damage. Finally, wire brush the harware and torque member the harware clips into (wh...

Take the box the filter comes it, open both ends, flatten it. Fold it lengthwise. tuck it under the drip channel (access panel swung out of way). Reach in from the side of the skidplate and undo filter. Let it drip before removing. stand up filter and pull out from side. If you pull it out the littl...

Tells me his wife (sure...) popped a tire and had it replaced, he's guessing tire ...

Now that you have it all together, may as well leave it. It's only the park brake anyway. It would never stop the R51 once in motion anyway. If you want to tighten it up, pull the plug out the front of the rotor and turn it, so that hole lines up with the star wheel and tighten to light drag. Then g...

how would one show you debris settled in the diff and/or on the magnetic drain plug without draining the fluid? I've personally done hundreds of drive train services on every gen of pathfinder....I would do it. If your look at the manual, it says "REPLACE not inspect" every 30k miles/ 48K ...

Do it. It will be black and your magnet will be covered in fuzzy metal crap. Yes, Syn lasts a long time, but all the crap build up (especially from the first break-in) will be bad. It's easy to do yourself. But you need a 10mm allen. DO NOT use the closest imperial. That sucker will be tight. It has...
