Re: Clutch replacement

Hmmmm. $3000 clutch, or $2.50 switch (if it's possible). I know what I'd prefer, especially since replacing the clutch is going to happen anyway, and then I will still have the same problem... Let us know how the switch works out for you ok? If you have to burn through clutches to back a tra...

You basically want 2WD LOW. Not sure how one would accomplish this. I don't know enough about the transfer case to know if this is possible.

Wouldn't it be easier to replace the worn clutch?

The biggest reason I've been against this lift from day one. $1600 for the lift ("spacers" would be a better term), and another $2-3k for wheels and tires-all that for the same ride. Am I being too practical minded? I agree with ya. The more I read about this kit, the less impressed I am....

On mine, if the tire got below 30psi, it would go off. I had 2 leaking tires so I had to deal with this quite frequently. A loud beep goes off for about 6 seconds, along with the light (little amber tire light next to the "no seatbelt" light) on the gauge cluster. After the beep stopped, t...

My only concern is the mesh coming loose once its mounted. After amputating the OEM grill I wouldn't want the mod to fall apart on me. Was there any room for some tiny screws to hold the mesh in place? There should definately be enough room to run some screws through to really secure the filler mat...

Isn't that the truth. While it wasn't server/network gear, several years ago we had someone steal a large network printer (HP 5SI), which weighs quite a bit. Turned out he lied to our security guard, and our guard actually helped him load the printer into the back of his pickup truck.

Not all of these are to be changed as maintenance though. Fuel filter should last the life of the vehicle.

Well, the best place to put one would be right over the upper brake light, but I think DMV might take exception, particularly if we go with the solid white "nissanpath" version. Another place would be to the left of the handle on the rear window, but you'd have to put another decal on the...

That looks awesome. How did U do it? Where did you get all the material? Almost forgot. As far as the material, being in I.T., I just happened to come across an old server cabinet that was going to be thrown out, so I used the grill material off of the front of the cabinet. The piece was about 5'x2...

It wasn't too difficult, but turned out to be a little more then I thought before I started. I didn't realize that the grill itself is the entire black plastic portion which contains the honeycomb meshing that I eliminated, as well as all the grill connection points. The chrome portion is nothing bu...
