If you get it going just float me a ticket for the idea. I'll even spread the word. I'm really on the hunt for free spare steelies, but I'd take a chance at free beadlocks!

Might try a raffle, advertise on the XTerra Facebook groups. If nobody wants to spend 2k on wheels, maybe they'll spend 20 bucks on a chance to own 2k$ wheels. Only sell 100 and everybody will love the odds. Or sell 150 and make cost. Hey, it's a thought.

Takes a slide hammer to pull those half axles, but then they pop right out, so keep a hand under them!

You can unbolt them and hang them with wire. Pulling the old seals is always a pain, you just have to keep at it. Factory service manual helps and I think it's hiding around here somewhere.

In way of an update let me just say mechanically locked front and rear make for some interesting highway time. Learning the art of smooth, consistent application of throttle.

Inside the no slip axle gear a groove about 3/16 deep needs cut. After massaging the gear and axle with valve grinding compound the fit between them is fine, but it was too tight initially. The shop is having a hard time finding a cutting wheel to fit inside the axle gear to make the cut. Wish I kne...

http://i343.photobucket.com/albums/o447/lesgolden/image.jpg2.jpg I was hoping to finish before posting, but i just can't wait any longer. For those interested, this is the Powertrax No-Slip for the C200K set up within tolerance in the V6 R51 R200 carrier. My issues are very tight half shaft to axle...

Have you upgraded the skids on your R51 Off Road? I'll take those factory plates off your hands! Looking for any skid plates. Would like to trade, have lots of outdoor and music gear. Can build bowstrings or provide portrait or real estate photography, can give guitar/bass/banjo/mandolin/drum lesson...

Helen, GA Oktoberfest Ride

Would anyone be interested in a group ride early October? Check out Beasley Knob OHV, Bend N Hickory Rd, Charlie Creek Rd, and Trey Mountain Rd. All fun trails in NE GA, and it's a beautiful place in the fall! The BierHalle in Helen in October is good for a night of dancing to polka!

Yup. Figured while I have it open I may as well! I'd already decided on the mech locker, couldn't justify the extra expense of an ARB, and the timing seemed right. Cheap but capable will be the theme of this build. Looks like our paths are wearing the same color! It's a hard time resisting a two ton...
