I just had my bearing changed and was exactly the same as what you described. Except the opposite side, I think the fact it goes away when you turn one way gives it away. Bad bearing on your right side , cost me £170 for bearing and fitting.

That's sounds like it let me know if you get it working, I think it's quite handy apart from on mine every door works except from the drivers side! Typical! But I use the boot to open my car usually, putting tho dog in the back.

I have a 2005 T-spec pathfinder, and I'm looking to buy the DVD to upgrade my maps as they are 05-06 version! The disc drive is under my seat and it seems all I need is the new disc, but is my sat nav xnavi 6.0 or 7.0??

You getting the petrol one? Not many about in the UK, I've had all sorts of problems with mine only had it since January and it's been in the garage for 9 weeks since then... I'd get a newer diesel one if I was you!
