Front Brakes

Hey All. Going to tackle the front pads soon. Is there anything special I need to know or a thread I can be directed to? Thanks in advance. 8)

makes sense

Your reply makes sense as it failed Ohio E-Check for running rich. They recommended replacing the plugs which I will do after fixing this issue.
This is a 141k mile vehicle with one timing belt replacement...not sure about the O2 sensor....

Fuel

Thank You for the reply. These vehicles seem to rely heavily on all of the hoses being in proper condition. I am going to replace all of the vacuum lines with neoprene grade as well as any other hoses/lines. If this doesn't cure the problem I will look to the regulator and a leak down test....Thanks...

Smelling fuel in the oil

94 Stock XE....Just checked the oil after it seems to be running a lil rough.
I smell fuel.
Someone suggested that maybe the fuel pressure regulator maybe be failing or one of the injectors is stuck open....Any thoughts? .....Thanks :?:

Tint

20% front doors , 30% rear doors , 50% rear quarter windows and 20% rear gate glass.....visibility with protection. Also consider a 20% 3.5 inch strip across the top of the windshield to aid in sun glare protection.

Exterior Glass reveal moldings

My 94 had contracted moldings due to southern heat. 3M black door edge guard with adhesive worked well. I stripped out all the old trim, cleaned up any residue and applied the new trim to the glass.....looks great.

No Start

Disconnect both battery cables then tie them together (keeping both away from the battery!) , terminal to terminal for a minimum of 15 minutes. This confuses the PCM Memory causing re-boot to factory specs. Keep in mind this will clear any archived codes stored.

Battery Terminal corrosion

Start with clean terminals as mentioned....Then use Red Grease (used by truckers on the "fifth wheel" for trailer hook up as it contains copper and prevents corrosion like anti-seize. Or just brush with copper based anti-seize.
