I've had a similar problem on my diesel model. It was the pipes clipped to the firewall - the clips were broken and the pipes were rattling.

I have the same problem on a manual diesel (UK) model. My UJs look in good condition and I can't feel any play at all in them. As they're between the transfer box and diffs, should it be any different if I jack the vehicle up as they're not loaded anyway. Do I need to feel play in them for them to b...
