I'm more used to driving sporty cars, and even compared to those the initial throttle response is way too sensitive and difficult to modulate, which is annoying when maneuvering in tight spaces.
The sensor curve seems to have an aggressive offset. Poor design.

Wonderful. So likely it's just busted. I'll post some links for repair when I come across them. Thanks.

Problem is that I only have a few thousand clicks left on it before the warranty fully lapses. So in that case I'd just have to force it to commit hara-kari.

07 Pathfinder LE Bose CD changer issues

First time since I've owned this car and I am trying to load CD's to no avail. Am I doing this right? I press CD, then LOAD, then I select a number. The CD changer makes some noises, I feed it a disk, and a few seconds later it spits it back out again. I think it won't let me load #1, but I'm not en...

Thanks for your insight guys. Now that I've put in more than a single tank of gas, driving it out of town for a bit, and now that I know what issues to look for, I can say with certainty that the transmission is borked. I have the rumble strip symptoms at specific speed/revs when in OD. It is hesita...

So, at this point, these are my options, I think. Input welcomed. The car is at 151.000km, and the warranty is valid for 1 more year or 160.000km whichever comes first. Option 1: Do the bypass, flush, hope for the best. With the risk of it grenading outside of the 160K, or with the risk of Nissan us...

That link is very helpful and I had not seen that before! Thank you! It has a contact number for Nissan Canada in it as well. I just called them, and it does seem that I am eligible for the extended warranty program. I have to pay in $3000 into the service. I have about a year and 9000KM left to mak...

My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard

Hi there. New guy here from Canada. So I bought a very nice '07 LE a week or two ago with just under 150.000 KM on it. Leather, navi, DVD, the works. Got a reasonably good deal on it too. I'm a somewhat car-savvy guy. I did some research. Asked all the questions. Checked all the things. Took a 40 mi...

I'm in the same boat. They want $247.
I found an automotive locksmith in the local classifieds that can do it for $60.
He can also upgrade to the newer style flip-style keys. I might do that.

The panel comes off with 1 bolt in the handle and 2 small 7mm bolts behind the emergency kit. Open the hatch glass, then carefully pop the panel off by pulling on it. You'll find where it's attached fairly easily. Start at where the handle was.

I had a similar issue with the hatch recently. Click my profile and search my topics and it'll pop up for you. My fix was very simple.

Well, this was probably one of the easiest fixes on any of my cars, ever. I found a little access panel and saw right away that when I tried to lock/unlock the hatch, that the latch you can see on the inside wasn't moving much. I pulled off the rear hatch panel (note: open the hatch glass, or you'll...

Hatch will not lock -FIXED-

I just found out that my hatch does not lock at all. Neither via the key fob nor via the key in the drivers side door. The hatch glass will not lock either. All doors are locked both via the remote and via the drivers side door key. I also have the impression that the car is throwing me an error. Wh...

There are some roads that are a bit bad, but it's fairly civilized where I live. During spring/summer the Path will do mainly Daily Drive duty to work and back for the wife. If anything, I think the Path is a little "wallowy" on the 17's right now. It came with Goodyear Wrangler silent arm...
