Need an update. Did a new dist. solve the problem. I have a similar issue and am on the verge of getting a new OEM dist. Did you trace it to the control unit (computer)? What happened?

I spoke too soon. While the CEL has cleared, she still dies intermittently. In fact, seems to be getting worse. Now looking at the distributor.
