Yes, I would say that Nissan's have pretty aggressive throttle response compared to other vehicle makes I've driven. I personally like it. What were you driving before the Path? Hey. Thanks for the response. I also have a Durango where the gas pedal is much less sensitive. For work, I drive a Chevy...

Is it me or is the gas pedal real sensitive

So i have had the 06 pathfinder for nearly a month and find that when i accelerate from a complete stop, the car tends to lunge forward unless you gently press the accelerator pedal. Is the throttle response supposed to be this sensitive? Thanks.

Hey guys... Thanks for the heads up. I went ahead and canceled my order for the aftermarket parts. I looked at the radiator but had no reference to the faulty one. I appreciate your help in this issue. I had a feeling it was aftermarket mainly cause of the cap but also, it has a new upper hose put o...

Radiator question. Have a picture.

So when i bought my 06 pathfinder i read that the radiator is faulty in many models and requires the bypass, however, by changing the radiator to a new updated one, that should resolve the problem. Now i have no problem doing the bypass if necessary but if this radiator thats in there now is the new...

So just an update. I purchased a used climate control module and a rear hatch locking mechanism. The locking mechanism was used but when i swapped out the 2 seemed to do the trick. The arm on the locking mechanism now makes a complete movement that locks and unlocks the door so that problem is now f...

purchased the whole cup holder assembly from ebay for 60 dollars. It just came in. To install it i removed the armrest held on by 3 screws then pulled off the back panel (panel that has the rear temp gauge knobs) which is held in by clips. While it was out it was fairly easy to remove the old assemb...

Rear seat cupholder removal

2006 pathfinder rear seat cup holder: Im not certain but to remove the whole unit (not just the cup holder but the whole assembly where the cupholder slides into), do you need to remove the center armrest to get the assembly out or is there an easier way without removing the whole center area? Mine ...

maybe pull one off in a junkyard? or is the knob attached from the inside as a permanent part of the head unit? The junk yard wont sell just the knob as then the whole unit would be useless so you must purchase the whole climate control unit. Sucks but what can be done? Just as a side note.... I ha...

Well... I removed the hatch panel and found the actuator. The acuator was attached and was not loose. The problem is that the plastic part that moves on the actuator back and fourth is barely moving. Even if i remove it from its location where there is no load, it barely moves back and fourth. Im gu...

Smj999.... thank you for the reply. I thought the same thing about that part number but found that it is only the outer shell where you would physicaly pur your fingers to turn the knob but the "guts" of that shell is not included. I even called courtecynissan and they confirmed i need to ...

Intersting... i will look into that when i get home. Kinda odd that the mechanism would fall off like that by itself but will check and see. Is it difficult to remove the panel from the rear hatch? Thanks for your help.
