I called your parts place. They said $1250 for the motor. I said it was too expensive. He said "how does $1050 sound", I said no thanks. He said it could be delivered to Washington State for $200 shipping.

Got any other ideas?

I tried calling some, but they either don't ship engines, or the shipping is way too much. Do you know of any other resources?

The problem is that: The engine I need is only in the 2001 and 2002 with a manual trans. The 2003 and 2004 wont work. No engine from an automatic will work. So its very hard to find a motor that will fit, and the ones that will are like $1200. Plus I would have to pay $350 for installation, plus ext...

Here is some useful info for you. 1) If you don't know exactly what you are doing, don't mess with the 4x4 at all. Leave the transfer case alone. 2) The 100% safest way to use the 4x4 lever is with the engine OFF. 3) When changing from low to high range or high to low, move the shift lever quickly. ...

Tire chains on the front?

So you cant run chains on the front because they wont clear the strut. If one were to add 2" wheel spacers, would chain clear everything properly? Has anyone tried this?

Lift kit options

I have an 01 SE. New rear springs, and a 2" lift kit (puck). Question: Im thinking about going a little higher, with the rubber things that go between the coils to boost height up a little (1/2 inch or so). Im running manual hubs in the front, so the extra height wont trash the front drive shaf...
