Check fuel filter
I've also read about the pattern fuel filter causing problems but would of thought if this was the culprit the truck wouldn't perform like it does. Do the d40's have the weak bottom end problem that the d22's had? Over here in the uk there's company's advertising stronger ARP ...

High mileage and got the rattle at 1500 rpm

Hi all. Over in the uk. My pathy has always had the common engine tappety sound when engines cold that goes away after less than 5 mins of driving. Just lately I'm sure it's got very slightly louder and takes a little bit longer to go away. I thought it may need some fresh oil so spoke to a good ...

Thanks. I'm in the uk. I will look into it. It's only the fact I've already got the tyres that I wanted to do it. I don't want to compromise the handling or any unwanted wear.

Oh!! I assumed the pathfinder would run the same set up as a navara.

To be honest I just want it for the looks as I have a lovely set of 33" chunky tyres in my garage. Saying that I wouldn't want it to sway around like a boat or nothing.

Managed to get hold of a owners manual. Haven't tried it yet but apparently your press both buttons on the fob simultaneously for 5 secs to turn anti hijack on or 10 secs to turn it off. I'll give it a try later.

After much searching. The buttons on the doors are for the ikiey entry. As long as you have the key in your pocket you should be able to walk up to car, press the button on the door handle and it automatically unlocks the door. This was an option before 08 apparently. Only thing is the buttons on ...

Yes. Uk right hander. Yes it's deff a factory job. And as said the entry didn't come till 08 so at least I know I haven't got that option. Just wondered what the buttons are for on the handles.

Keyless start / entry

Hi
I just purchased a 05 with keyless go. Can someone explain to me how the entry works? I've been locking unlocking by getting key out my pocket and pressing buttons on fob. Apparently the car should unlock and lock as long as key is in pocket or whatever. Sorry for the ignorance. Tried searching ...
