Update So i replaced the Cam position sensor (passenger side). The stalling has ceased and the VDC/SLIP lights do not come on anymore. I believe the lights were a function of the engine almost stalling and then coming back on causing some sort of confusion. I have not gotten to the rest of the codes...

Many (un?)related problems

'05 Pathfinder ~165k miles - every option My check engine light came on a couple months back. I had the 1774 code for the transmission but it wasn't acting up too badly so I have let it be for now. but recently it has taken to stalling occasionally so I pulled the codes again and had the following: ...

It is intermittent, occurring once every week or two. Not certain how to proceed as time and weather are not on my side right now. I appreciate all the help. I haven't been able to locate the part number on the radiator. I thought I had but when I look up that number it is the A/C Condenser. Sure lo...

So am I looking at a faulty solenoid? If so how difficult are they to change? How would I tell if the radiator has been changed? That is one thing that I've never determined is how to know if it has been done. Sorry for the barrage of questions.

So the level looks okay, might be just a touch above full checked cold. It is not red. it looks clear but nearer the color of motor oil than what I am used to seeing in a transmission. Is this proper? I thought I had checked it before, but when I got to the the bolt that holds the dipstick in I reme...

I haven't, though I've only had it for about 8k miles. Would there be fluid in the radiator as well? Because the antifreeze looks fine.

05 trans not shifting properly

Yesterday my wife was driving and the trans would not shift out of 1st. After stopping, shutting it off and restarting it was fine. I plan on checking the fluid but was wondering what else I might be in for.

Thanks

That little pump does seem to work. It turns on when I turn the front blower up past a certain point. I heard it the other day when I was working since I had the ignition on but the engine off. At first I thought it was the blower turning on very low, but I tracked the whirring noise to that little ...

No heat in Rear, no Blower in Front

I don't have heat. 2005 Pathfinder - Auto climate (and every other possible option, I think) The rear will not get warm despite my efforts to burp the cooling system. is there an electrical valve/relay somewhere that needs to open to allow heat to the rear? Had a van like that. The front blower refu...

I'll look to YouTube, I suppose, but was wondering how difficult a task it is to change a rear bearing on this. Any idea on what tools. It is certainly the right rear bearing. Quite sloppy.

Thanks for all the input.

I did pull the rotors and inspect the drum elements inside. I did not adjust the e-brake; I offer no explanation other than perhaps laziness. It seems that a u joint would be more consistent than this has been. Sometimes you can drive all day and not hear it and then the next it will do it most of t...

Scraping/rubbing/grabbing sound

About a month ago I bought a 2005 Pathfinder. About a week later it developed an intermittent rubbing or scraping sound. The sound was very much like a brake that was sticking and was metal on metal; but applying the brakes has no effect on the sound. I then thought it might be that the parking brak...
