Save your self time and just cut the bolts. I used a Sawzall. There is a 99% chance they won't come out. I wasted a few hours soaking them and heating them.

I replaced the assembly with tee fitting and eliminated the metal lines. Cost was probably under 60 bucks. The original plastic it super thin and it broke twice on me.

double gasket would have or should have shown signs almost right away and that would have emptied your oil in a few minutes unless you got lucky and the gaskets stuck. having lost that much oil means you have a leak that should not be ignored. I thought they all did that and if you can or know someone the idle can be bumped up 25 to 50 rpm and it would stop that.

06 LE 176,000 and other than the belt tensioner issue and just now a hole in the exhaust not much but oil, breaks, and tires. OH and the plastic coolant line on the fire wall broke with was fixed with none nissan parts so it would not break again.

I couldn't bring myself to pay 300 bucks for plastic fittings and tubing. I removed the stock TEE and aluminum tubing(cut the rubber hose just before the start of the tubing). Bought a TEE at Napa which was universal it could accept 5/8 heater hose or 3/4 inch hose and two splices to connect the 5/8...
