I'm having similar trouble with a P0011 code and think I have it narrowed down to the VTC solenoid. Have you checked the VTC solenoids on each bank for proper operation? Low oil level, dirty oil, or incorrect viscosity along with low oil pressure can also affect their operation from what I've read. ...
